Custom designed plastic extrusions
With our in house team of designers Nenplas can assist you in the development of your products and profiles from the very start of the project. Our development lab has the latest 3D modelling and testing equipment and our experienced development teams will ensure that all aspects of the product design are investigated and tested at this early stage.
Develop
World class toolmaking and development capabilities
Nenplas has the largest bespoke toolroom in the UK and manufactures between 120 and 150 new tools every year all designed by our in house team of toolmakers. Our range of toolmaking equipment includes CNC milling machines, CNC wire eroders, lathes and spark drills to ensure new tools are made to the highest quality and standards in the shortest timescale.

Customer focused planning and production
Our 75000 square foot production facility has 31 high quality, modern extrusion lines that manufacture from our range of over 5000 existing tools. In an average year we will extrude over 20,000,000 metres of profiles to the highest quality standards including ISO 9001. We also have a secondary operations area that can cut, mitre, mill, punch and pack your profiles to specific requirements.

Our customer base is diverse and typically comprises markets and applications including: industrial, glazing systems, internal building, caravan & static holiday home, furniture and shop-fitting. As a part of the end to end service, we are of course also able to provide various secondary operations to meet specific needs.

Best value and optimal cost for our partners
We partner in offering custom designed plastic extrusions in profile form. We augment these with certain selected standard profiles (e.g. glazing seals, angles, channels, tubes). Our design input is a pro-active measure to help achieve best value and optimal cost performance ratio in the finished component.
Our history
Over 50 years experience
Established in 1971, Nenplas Extrusions at Ashbourne and Trent Valley Plastics in Burton on Trent were acquired by the McKechnie Group in 1987, later transitioning to Newell Rubbermaid before a management buyout in 2006 which included the Homelux tile edging business. Expanding through acquisitions, they absorbed the assets of Frontline Extrusions in 2009 and those of Mplas in 2010. By 2013 divestment led to the sale of Homelux and the MBO team concentrated on strengthening the plastic extrusion focus with the acquisition of Polyplas Extrusions in 2013 and Delta Plastics in 2015. In 2020 the assets of Euroseal were moved to Ashbourne and in 2024 R & D Extrusions and Wand Plastic Profiles were acquired.
Since 2016 the Nenplas Group has been part of Surteco, a leading German plastics business.
